| Bio: | So, I am a 19 year old student from Toronto, Canada. I am studying a double major in Forensic Science and Psychology at the University of Toronto (Varsity Blues, rah rah!). I am 1/4 British, 1/4 Irish, 1/4 Polish and 1/4 Meredith Grey. I work as a) an intern with the downtown Toronto police, b) ballroom dance instructor with Arthur Murray. I plan on moving to the US for graduate studies/med school and eventually becoming a medical examiner. My fandom loves are pretty much depicted below, but Grey's Anatomy, X-Files, and CSI:LV reign supreme over everything else. I like Scully better than Mulder (but not by much, they are *almost* equal) and Horatio Caine's sunglasses are the best CSI character. I write fanfic and I make graphics and yeah, that is about it. Not gonna tell you where the 2 quotes below are from, but if you know, you should friend me cause then we have something in common :) Meryl Streep = God. Family. Love. Sex. But we only need one thing to actually be alive. We need a beating heart. When our heart is threatened we respond in one of two ways. We either run or we attack. There is a scientific term for this -- fight or flight It's instinct. We can't control it. Or can we...          define the path of a life just as surely as they lead towards its end. How rarely do we stop to examine that path, to see the reasons why all things happen, to consider whether the path we take in life is our own making or simply one into which we drift with eyes closed. But what if we could stop, pause to take stock of each precious moment before it passes? Might we then see the endless forks in the road that have shaped a life?
